No sé si será algún tipo de machismo subconsciente o algo por estilo, pero por más que le doy vueltas no puedo dejar de pensar que las canciones cantadas por mujeres no suenan igual. A lo mejor es que el rock no fue hecho para ellas, o que sólo fue inventado para que gritaran y chillaran desde debajo del escenario desde la época de los Beatles; porque siendo sincero, no puedo imaginarme a una mina cantando temas de AC/DC, Twisted Sister, Van Halen, etc, porque digámoslo, la agresividad con la que se creó el rock no era para ellas e inevitablemente se echaría a perder si eso pasara.
Afortunadamente estoy equivocado, porque Joan Jett rompe con todos estos tabúes. Se puede mezclar su voz con una batería y un riff de guitarra, ¿porque tiene estilo? ¿porque es más agresiva?... no lo sé, pero el resultado es simplemente Rock.
